Back To the Hospital

Conner has enjoyed going back to school the last couple of days, but that will change once again. 

We took him to the doctor today to get more xrays and the doctor said it looks like surgery.  So back to the hospital we go tomorrow morning.  Conner will have to have surgery.  Two of the breaks are looking good and lining up right.  One of the breaks, the one on the tibia, is not.  It has shifted and will require surgery.  We were all hoping he wouldn't need surgery, but we are just grateful he can fix it now instead of have problems his whole life.  I am grateful there are doctors that can fix these things.
Conner is nervous that he won't fall asleep before surgery.  His spirits were a little down tonight because he will have to miss more school and this will set him back an extra week.  He is a trooper though.  He hasn't complained at all.  He keeps commenting on how nice people are.  He has had lots of visitors and phone calls.  His football team all signed a football and a few of the players came and brought it to him. 

His friend, Ty-who broke his arm at football practice, came to visit and brought cookies.

Everyone has been so kind!  A huge thanks to my mom for taking time out of her schedule to keep our other kids.  Hopefully all will go well tomorrow.
