Martin Harris Pageant

After the reunion this year our family decided to go to the Martin Harris Pageant in Clarkston, which is close to my sister's house.  We were going to stay the rest of the week in Utah, but our kids are involved in sports and practices were starting and they couldn't miss all week.  We decided to go to the pageant that evening and then drive home.
After making that decision, my sister and my parents decided they wanted to go too.

We had never been to it before, and it was a great experience.  My sister found our seats while we were getting blankets and jackets out of the car.  When she went to sit down the lady in front of her asked if she was my sister.  When we went to sit down we were so surprised to see some of our great friends from our days at USU!  We hadn't seen them in years!  She had recognized my sister from when we used to have late scrapbook nights in Logan!  It was SO FUN to talk to them and see their cute girls!  We still send Christmas cards every year, but it was so good to talk in person!  She is the one sitting below our family in yellow!

The pageant is set up outside amphitheater style. The stage is amazing!  Lots of work has gone into that production!  You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful night!

It was a terrific show about the life of Martin Harris and his role with Joseph Smith.  What a great testimony builder!
