These are a few of my FAVORITE things!

With Christmas comes lots of favorites...traditions, foods, family...the list could go on and on.  I want to share 5 of my favorite things from this Christmas that happened this during this last week (not in any specific order)!
#1-The elementary school program-The music teacher and all of the grades always put on a terrific Christmas program that involves all of the classes.  Malorie and Kallie before the program.

Malorie and Kallie after the program with their cousins-Bridger and Jacie.  Hard to believe Malorie is in 5th grade and it was her last elementary program.

#2- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE receiving Christmas cards and letters in the mail.  We then hang them all on our game closet door to enjoy all month!  Don't EVER stop sending Christmas cards!  We love them!

#3-Making gingerbread houses.  This is a tradition on Christmas Eve at our house.  We make houses, take our picture by the Christmas tree, and then read the Christmas story.

#4 Going to church on Christmas Day.  We had asked the kids if they wanted to see what Santa brought before church and then open gifts after church.  Conner talked them into blocking off the living room and waiting until after church to see everything!  It was WONDERFUL!  We got up, had breakfast, got ready and went to church.

After church, the kids anxiously waiting to go and see what Santa brought-waiting for their dad to get the video camera working!  At our house they go out youngest to oldest in a line after dad has the video camera on and ready!  Oh, they were so anxious...it was about 10:30!

#6-Enjoying the whole Christmas day and the next day with family!  Here are a few pictures from our day!

What a fun time of year!  Having church on Christmas day was extra special this year-to really focus on our Savior!  We hope you all had a terrific Christmas!
