To be Thankful!

A couple of Mondays before Thanksgiving, our family likes to have a "thankful" Family Home Evening.  Kallie was in charge of it this year and made the base of the tree.  I helped her cut out her "hands" for the branches.  We each took two "hands" and wrote things we were thankful for on them.  We hung them all up together and "wa-la" we made our thankful tree!

Every year there are different things found on this tree!  It is a good reminder to us of our many blessings! We could write so many more!  There is always so much to be thankful for!

Thanksgiving 2013 was at Brett's parents' home.  Before the feast some of the family was outside enjoying the nice weather..in the trees...

Can't remember what they called it, but the object was for someone to kick the ball, someone to catch the ball, and then someone to throw the ball at another person and if that person didn't catch it, but got hit by it, they were out!

Had to take a picture of the beautiful art my creative sister-in-law, Sheri, created!  How could we eat something so cute?

Yep, that is what they are!  Goofy, but we love them all so much!  It is fun when we can all be together!

Thanksgiving weekend is always full of lots of food, family, and fun!  We usually put our Christmas tree up on this weekend!  This Thanksgiving was no different.

Except we found this "creature" while we were decorating!

Oh, so much to be thankful for all year long!
