Johnson's Amazing Race!

A couple of weeks ago we had our Johnson Family Reunion!  Mitch and Cari were in charge this year.  We had it at the Nature Park in Rexburg and ended it that evening swimming at Green Canyon.  For the first part we ate lunch and played at the park.  They had rented Tandem Bikes and everyone enjoyed those.  Here are a few pictures of the "tandemers":  Natalie and Dora...

After eating and playing at the park we had a great activity-the Amazing Race.  Mitch and Cari put us all in teams and gave us a color.  Each family had to bring five things of one color for one of the teams (things you had around your house-you could be as creative as you wanted to).  Then Mitch and Cari had previously divided all of the families up so we weren't with our immediate families (except for the littlest kids).  Our team was then given a color and we had to wear whatever was brought for that team color.  Here are the pictures of the differnet teams:

Purple Team: Kallie, Justin, Sheri, Dylan and Whitney

Red Team: Tyler, Lindsey, Natalie, Tanner and Wayne

Green Team: Kirk, Landon, Conner, Dora and Alexa

 and the winners-the Blue Team: Parker, Jennifer, Macy, Mike and Malorie

We had to go around Rexburg doing different activities as a team and the first team back won!  Some of the activities included golfing, putting a puzzle together, flips on a trampoline, knowing your geography, tandem bike riding, digging through rocks for money for snowcones, 3-legged race, shooting darts...We had a great time!  They did a super job planning it and everyone had a great time!
