HiHo-HiHo...It's Off to Aunt Pooh's We Go!

We just had our spring break (or should I say "SNOW-COLD BREAK") this last week and we spent it at Aunt Pooh's House. For those of you that don't know...when my sister, Heather, was little her nickname was Pooh Bear. When Conner was little he couldn't say "Aunt Heather" so we taught him to say "Aunt Pooh"! Well, needless to say...it stuck and now we all call her that...even her husband sometimes!

Before leaving for the weekend, Lindsay had an Easter egg hunt at her house. We ended up having it inside because of the snowy weather. This is a picture of the kids waiting in Camri's room while we were hiding the eggs through the rest of the house!

Aunt Pooh wanted us to come for a few days and spend Easter and scrapbook and listen to conference...we did just that! Friday night my mom and I took her out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Our waitress overheard us talking that we were their for her birthday. A few minutes later a saddle showed up at our table with four workers and their loud voices letting everyone know it was her birthday. They made her sit up in the saddle while they announced that it was her birthday! For those that don't know my sister...she is not very tall and the saddle was quite high. She said next time she wants to go to Olive Garden or somewhere else where she doesn't have to sit in a "saddle"! My mom and I couldn't quit laughing! I didn't add the picture of her actually sitting in the saddle. Heather wasn't a fan of the picture!

While at her house here are some of the other fun things we did:

• Had another Easter Egg hunt...that's right...another one in the house because of the snow and wind.
• Brett surprised us and came down Saturday night after the priesthood session. He spent the night and spent Easter day with us. That was super fun! The Easter bunny even found him there. He loves me when I take his picture really early in the morning.
• The Easter bunny found Grandma at Aunt Pooh's house too!
• The kids had a fun Easter morning with Lizzie. They found their Easter baskets and then we got to enjoy a good day of General Conference.
• Monday night for Family Home Evening we colored Easter eggs while we were there. Lizzie just wanted to lick the shell of her egg. She wasn't too interested in coloring it. Here are the kids with one of their eggs they colored.
• We also went bowling one night and out for ice cream. I forgot my camera that night!
• The day before we came home, Heather took us to a pajama outlet that they have in Logan. They make pajamas for tourist places and then they sell some of them at this outlet for really cheap that have been discontinued! I let each of the kids pick out one pair...quite the scary bear faces, don't you think? Thanks for a great weekend Aunt Pooh, Uncle Koby, and Lizzie! Thanks mom for coming with us! It sure was fun to go and spend time together!
