Ward Party Pie Contest!

A few weeks ago we had our ward party!  It was a big dutch oven cookout with all of the yummy summer food...dutch oven ribs, corn on the cob, scones, salads, homemade rootbeer, apple cobbler and ice cream.  They rented a jump house for the kids to play in.  At the end, they had a pie eating contest.  They had put everyone's names in a hat and if your name got pulled out...you were in the pie eating contest.  They did 2 rounds.  Conner got chosen in the first round.  Ready, set, go....

The guy next to Conner, Lou Stoddard, was the oldest one chosen and he WON!  He went crazy on that pie and showed everyone how a true pie-eating contest was done!

The second round Brett got picked!  It was hilarious to watch them eat the pie!  At times, it made you want to GAG to see them eat so fast!  Jamie Rigby got picked too!  She was a good sport to eat pie with the men! 

When it was over, a little boy in our ward asked Brett if he could eat the rest of his pie.  Brett gave it to him and he started licking away!  Crazy kid!  Fun-filled night!  I am glad my name didn't get drawn!  I would have thrown up!
